Xbox executive, Aaron Greenberg saw that Elon Musk revealed that Halo was his favorite console game and saw the potential for his “dream collaboration” with Tesla. With Elon Musk and Tesla, Greenberg hinted at a potential IRL Cybertruck warthog project.
“Sure feels like a Tesla x Halo collab needs to happen at some point!?” Greenburg tweeted, in response to Musk’s tweet about playing Halo.
As the Xbox Marketing General Manager, Greenburg will realize that it would probably be a huge success to work with Tesla on a potential Halo warthog-inspired Cybertruck. Cybertruck has proved to be an in-the-making pop-culture symbol. Since its introduction, including two Cybertruck Hot Wheels variants, Tesla’s all-electric pickup truck has appeared in numerous notable ways.
Greenburg left the idea of a possible Tesla x Halo collaboration open for the future. “To be clear this would be a dream collab for me and many fans I know. So if you like the idea, speak up and maybe something in the future could happen, who knows!?” he said.
Although the concept of an IRL Cybertruck warthog may sound cool, it is likely that Elon Musk will first prioritize the development of the Tesla EV pickup truck. Over the past few months, the company’s Cybertruck facility, also known as Gigafactory Texas, has been making headway in terms of growth.
As for the Cybertruck, in the last earnings call, Musk stated that the design of the pickup has been finalized. He also shared that Tesla would order 8,000-ton casting press machines for the Cybertruck’s single-piece rear underbody.
