There are plenty of Tesla Cybertruck replicas out there but this is arguably the most useful Cybertruck-based implementation seen to date. I was hoping to see a Cybertruck RV of sorts prior to watching the video. However, while that’s not quite what we have here, it’s still pretty fascinating.
The prospect of big electric vans and electric RVs is definitely exciting. For such creations, the Tesla Cybertruck and Tesla Semi could give a solid starting point. This particular Cybertruck camper, however, is meant to be pulled by the Cybertruck, or indeed any vehicle capable of towing it but if you pull it with your coal-rolling diesel, it might attract some interesting attention.
Most of the Cybertruck replicas are either art pieces, gas-powered vehicles adorned with a body like a Cybertruck, or downsized electric versions of the real thing. While, these Tesla mock-up projects deserve plenty of praise, and some may be drivable on public roads, they’re not going to be very useful once the real Tesla Cybertruck comes to market.
With that said, not only is this Cybertruck camper made by Ivan Zheltonogov already very useful, but it could be an incredible addition to the collection of any upcoming Tesla Cybertruck owner. The Cybertruck camper may be worth a look for people who are not looking to buy a Cybertruck, or can’t afford one. Maybe hook it up to your Model X or Model Y?
Please note that the video is in Russian. For English, you can toggle on CC and follow along with ease. It really is more about the eye candy than the dialogue anyway.
