On Twitter, Lucid announced the presence of Lucid Air Sapphire release candidate cars on the production line at Casa Grande, AZ, hinting at the imminent availability of this groundbreaking luxury electric super-sports sedan.
The Lucid Air Sapphire is poised to redefine luxury with its innovative design and cutting-edge features. One of its standout characteristics is a three-motor powertrain, featuring a new twin rear-house drive, which is being developed in-house by Lucid.
Performance-wise, the Lucid Air Sapphire is expected to deliver an astounding 1,200+ horsepower. It will showcase incredible acceleration capabilities, achieving 0 to 60 mph in under two seconds and 0 to 100 mph in just four seconds without any modifications or prolonged preconditioning routines.
Eric Bach, the SVP of Product and Chief Engineer at Lucid, points out that the three-motor Lucid Air Sapphire retains all the strengths of its predecessors, including spacious rear legroom, a capacious trunk and frunk, and impressive efficiency.
