Tesla Model X Road Trip: 2,000-Mile Multi-State Christmas Light Tour

All Electric Family set out on a 2,000-mile road trip through many U.S. states. Their goal is to check out some of Arkansas, Tennessee, and Missouri’s best Christmas light displays. However, the other goal is always to spend time road-tripping in the Tesla Model X and share range and charging information with the EV community.

During a pandemic, there’s not a whole lot to do, particularly if you obey the rules and help keep people safe. The All Electric Family recently purchased a Tesla Model X to tow their camper, but they left the camper at home on this recent voyage. What is the Model X (without all the extra weight) like for long family road trips?

Although it might seem like a bit much to hit the road to travel 2,000 miles just to see some Christmas lights, it’s forced family time. If you have a great new EV like the Tesla Model X, sometimes you may just have an itch to load up the family and take to the roads.

Some folks might think that dealing with an electric car on a long road trip is a hassle, but that’s not the case. Instead, it can make for a fun adventure if you have a long-range EV with lots of bells and whistles, such as the Model X. This is particularly true if you have access to a high-speed charging network.

To see the light shows and learn more about the road trip, check out the fun video below. Happy Holidays!
