What we do not collect
ilovetesla.com does not require accounts. It does not ask for your name, email, VIN, or any personally identifying information. The my tesla profile is stored only in your browser (a cookie) and never transmitted to our servers.
Owner data contributions
If you submit a tire-life report, we store the vehicle configuration and tire details you provide (model, year, wheel size, tire type, miles, region, climate) plus a one-way hash of your IP address for abuse prevention. This is aggregate comparison data — it is published only in grouped, de-identified form with sample sizes. You may request deletion of your contribution at any time.
Cookies and analytics
We use first-party analytics (Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager) to understand aggregate usage. Analytics cookies are subject to Google Analytics data practices. No analytics event contains your VIN or personal data.
